Caleb 5K Run - July 13th

The Caleb Foundation is dedicated to helping children and youth discover their self-worth and achieve their purpose through education, health services, life skills and character development. In the last four years the Caleb Foundation has helped to fund local initiatives like Hope Fest at Walnut Creek, school supplies for thousands of children, local adoption and foster care programs. On the international front the Caleb Foundation has funded orphanages, hospitals and schools. The Caleb Foundation was inspired by Caleb Koke, an accomplished athlete with audacious dreams and a real love for children and young people who died in a car accident in July 2009.
The mission of the Caleb 5K Run is to celebrate life, connect with our community and run for a cause greater than ourselves.
The run/walk is a certified 5K (3.2 miles) and everyone is welcome to beat the heat at our fourth annual Caleb 5K Run on Saturday, July 13, 2013.

In 2012 we had over 1100 friends that helped us raise $20,000 that was distributed evenly to Capital Area Food Bank, Saint Louise House, Manos de Cristo, Family Eldercare and Watoto in Gulu, Uganda. Watoto is a holistic care program that was initiated in response to the child soldier crisis in Northern Uganda that left thousands of children orphaned and vulnerable to HIV.
Once again we are collaborating with five non-profits who are providing a holistic approach to serving children and youth. This year we are proud to support the following charities:

Join us as we run, walk, or crawl 5 kilometers for 5 charities.
